Good To Know
If you have never been at a ski facility before we have gathered some helpful tips for you.
Before you leave home
Make sure that you wear warm and comfortable clothes, don't forget gloves and a hat. We have a rental shop if you do not have any ski equipment. Let your teacher know and you will be able to pre book what you need. The use of a helmet is both safe and warm.
In the slopes
It is important to select the right level of slope. The color green states that it is for beginners, blue and red are for intermediates and black for the advanced skiier. A good start is to learn the basic technic from an experienced ski instructor. You need to know how to use the lift, make turns and stop for your own saftey and others. Check with your teacher if you can join our ski lessons.
Even if you are an experienced skiier make sure that you warm up in one of the intermediate slopes to start with. Remember that you always have to yield for the skiier infront of you. If you fall down always try to move out of the way as quickly as possible so you do not get hit by another skiier.
The Ski Lift
Make sure that you follow the already made ski tracks when you use the surface lifts. If you pull to much to the sides this may result in a lift failure.
