When is Romme Alpin open for the season?
The ordinary season season will start on december 21st.
What time does the slopes open and close?
The lifts and slopes are open:
December 21st- January 22nd 9:00-15:00
From January 23 th - March 30th 9:00-16:00
When does Romme Alpin close for the season?
The last day of skiing during the 2024/2025 season is until March 30th, 2025.

How old do you need to for riding out chairlifts?
You need to be over 140 cm to ride the chairlift without adult company.Is it the same price when boking on the website as on site?

Where do I meet my ski instructor?
”Skidlek”, ”Smygare”, ”Glidare”, ”Fräsare” and ”Teen” groups meet by the designated sign just outside the Lodge at the beginners area.
Private lessons in alpine skiing, snowboard and telemark are
asked to proceed to the ”Privat” sign along the Lodge wall. School groups meet
up at the large ”Skidskola” sign, also in the Beginners area.
Between what ages can children go to ski school?
We offer ski school for all ages.
We have different group lessons depending on age and level. For childrens of 3 years we have our popular ski and play. In the ages 4-9 years we offer different groups depending on previous skiing skills. Between 10-15 years, we have starting courses for young people both in skiing, perfect for those who want to learn the basics.

Do I need a Skipass during my ski/snowboard lesson?
No, During you ski/snowboard lesson you don't need a SkiPass. Note! If you would like to ski before or after a Skipass is required.Note! Equipment is not included in the lesson.
What applies for cancellations?
It is possible to cancel the lesson until 4:00 p.m. the day before arrival via email. A cancellation fee of 200 SEK will be charged. The remaining amount paid will be refunded to the guest.
For cancellations made after 4:00 p.m. the day before arrival and up until 8:00 a.m. on the day of arrival, cancellations can be made via email; however, a certificate from, for example, a doctor, authority, or insurance company is required to confirm your inability to attend. The certificate must be sent to us as soon as possible, but no later than 7 days from the cancellation date. Read the full booking terms here.
Which is Romme Alpins agelimits?
Children 0-6 years. Youth 7-17 years. Adults 18-64 years. Senior from 65 years.
Do I need to pre-book my SkiPass?
In order to adapt to the current situation we have decided to limit the amount of visiting guests allowed in the resort. This decision is aimed at reducing overcrowding and providing the best service to all guests.
The amount of guests allowed in to the resort will depend on the amount of slopes and lifts operating each day as well as the existing conditions.
In order to implement these new regulations we will now require mandatory pre-booking of your SkiPasses. Your SkiPass is your admission ticket to the lifts and slopes and it can be charged or pre-booked on our website or in the app. SkiPasses will not be sold on the premises of the resort.
We anticipate that most days throughout the season we will be able to accommodate our visitors. On some weekends the maximum amount of guests allowed in the resort might be reached, which means that the SkiPasses for the day will sell out. On such days it might be wise to book your SkiPasses well in advance.
How do I pre-book a SkiPass?
Charge your Axess SkiPass in the “online booking” section of the website.
If you don't have a rechargeable SkiPass you can purchase one and you will receive it by regular mail.
• You can also charge a new SkiPass with the desired amount of days and collect it at the resort.
Can I load my existing SkiPass at Romme Alpin?
Yes, that's fine. We use the Axess system, which is also used by, for example, Skistar and Idre fjäll. If you have a newer SkiPass from any of these resorts, you can load it at Romme Alpin. However, we cannot guarantee that those cards will work in our readers. We recommend using plastic cards from Romme Alpin. If you don't have one, you can purchase one for 60 SEK.

How late can I load my SkiPass on the website?
There is no time limit, you can stand on our parking, and charge your card and then head directly to the slopes. One tip is to do this before you get here, if the internet connection fails.

If I have a season pass, do I need to book my ski days?
Season pass holder do not need to book in advance.I bought a 2-day ski pass and now I want to go one more day, do I get any discount?
It is possible to upgrade your ski pass for 3 days, for the same price as if you had bought a 3 day pass from the beginning. Go to Gästservice for help and information.
Do children 0-6 years need a SkiPass?
This winter even childern aged 0-6 will be required to book their SkiPasses in advance. They will still be allowed on the slopes for free, but will need a valid SkiPass to access the lifts. A chargable Skipass can be purcharged for SEK60.What happens to my purchased SkiPass if you have to close the facility?
If the interruption of service was caused by events outside the control of the operational management, that the operational management could not have foreseen when the ski pass was sold, or the consequences of which could not be avoided, the following will apply:
✳ Refunds are not due for interruptions of service of a duration of less than
1/3 of the period of validity of the ski pass.

When can i check in?
At. 3:00 pm you can check in at the Ski lodge, Holgers hus and Annas hus. If the room has already been cleaned, you can get access to your room earlier. Our front desk is staffed around the clock, so you are welcome to check in when it suits you.When do I have to check out?
Checkout is at. 10.30 am. You can unfortunately not get a late check-out. This is because we have 169 rooms to be cleaned before the next check-in at 3:00pm.
Can I book only one night at the Ski lodge?
During week 2-6 & 11-13 can you book single nights if we have rooms avaliable. We release single nights 6 days before arrival for booking.
Is it allowed to bring pets to the Ski lodge?
In some of our family rooms with 4 beds and 5 beds you can bring animals. A pet allowed room is booked as usual through our website, choose the room type with the text "pet allowed".
Is there a fridge in the rooms in the Ski lodge?
No, there is not.
Are sheets and towels included in the price at the Ski Lodge?
Yes, during your stay sheets and towles are included.Is there a sauna at the Ski lodge?
We have a mens and a lady sauna in our relaxation area, located in the transition between the Ski Lodge's two buildings on floor three. Entrance from the second house.
We also have rooms with private sauna; Mini suite with sauna, Double room with sauna and The suite.
Where can I heat the oatmeal for my child when I stay at the Ski Lodge?
We have a microwave in our reception, please contact our staff and they will help you out. It is also possible to pick up a kettle from the reception which you can bring to the room to heat water.
Are there hair dryers in the rooms in the Ski lodge?
Yes, there is a hair drayer in one of the drawers in the low bench in the room.
Is there a swimming pool at the Ski Lodge?
No, we don't have a pool. We advice you visit the water park Aqua Nova in Borlänge.
Do you have any activities for children in the evenings at the Ski lodge?
We have a large playroom on the second floor above the lobby with toys, games, and crafts. The playroom opens at. 3:00am.
Movie nights. Which movies shown each day are presented on the large blackboard at the front desk.
The ski school also organizes evening outdoor activities such as ghost hunts, ice skating and Rommis Afterski. Contact the reception on site for more detailed information and to book these activities.
Can I book a crib for my room?
Yes, contact the booking office via phone 0243-795800 to book a crib to your room. We will charge you 200 SEK for the crib.
Can we book a room for four when we are five in our family? Can you put an extra bed in the room?
We only allow children under 2 years as an extra person in the room.
We have no extra beds but provides cribs for children under 2 years for a cost of 200 SEK.
Am I allowed to use the showers and relaxation area even though I do not live in ski lodge?
No, relaxation area is only available for our hotel guests.
Do I need to pre-book my dinner times?
Yes, you need to book your dinner times in advance to make it easier for both you as a guest and our kitchen. You book your times directly in the online booking when you make your reservation.How old you need to be for making a reservation
You need to be 20 years or older to make a reservation.What applies for cancellations?
Cancel accommodation at Ski Lodgen, Holgers, or Annas Hus
With purchased cancellation protection (495 SEK), accommodation can be canceled without giving a reason up to 16 days before arrival. In case of cancellation, the entire amount will be refunded, minus the cost of the cancellation protection (495 SEK).

Is it possible to book a dinner table in the Ski Lodge restaurant even though we are not staying at the hotel?
Yes you can, subject to availability. Contact booking at 0243-795800 or send an email to alpin@rommealpin.se.
Is it possible to book a table at lunch in one of the restaurants at Romme Alpin?
No, we do not accept table reservations lunchtime.
Do you have barbecues where you can barbecue your own food?
Yes, you can find barbecues at the beginner area. You can also find some barbeques on the mouintains.
Do you have microwaves at your restaurant for heating food?
No, we do not.Are you allowed to eat your own food at the restaurants?
The only restaurant that allowed you to eat own brought food is Värmestugan in Romme Dal.Age limit for alcohol
You need to be over the age of 20 to be able to buy alcohol in our bars and restaurants before 4 pm.Why should I connect my Skipass to My Romme?
By linking your ski pass to My Romme, you get access, and can post your ski day on Facebook. You follow your rides the whole season and can compare with your friends and the daily leaderboards
How is my rides recorded?
After you pass the entrance to the lift with your ski pass your registration runs automatically.
What is my day of skiing?
My ski day is a summary of your rides during the day. You get a compilation of the number of runs and number of vertical meters. You can also earn and collect different pins based on your riding style and your rides. Are you a Sun worshiper or Manchester Hunter?
Can I charge my Skipass on My Romme?
Yes, via the link Skipass. If you have made a booking before, your WTP number is saved.
Can you go up with the chairlift to the top cabin and eat lunch without skis?
No it is not allowed according to our safetyrules.
Are there other options than meat on fondue evening on Toppstugan?
We offer Quornfilé in vegetable broth or salmon in fish broth. This must be booked in advance, please contact the booking office at alpin@rommealpin.se mail or telephone 0243-795800.
Can I book a table for lunch in the Top Cabin?
You can not book a table for lunch at the Top Cabin.Is there a microwave in the lunch cottage?
No.Can I store my bag and shoes in the lunch house?
Yes, you can. We have shelves indoors and outside where you can store your items. We also offer a manned closet where you can leave your valuables items for a small fee.
Is there a changing room?
There are small changing romms in the Lunch House.Are there rooms for changing and showers at the facility?
Yes, in Värmestugan we have rooms for changing but no showers.
Is there storage and lockers at the facility?
In and outside the lunch cottage we have unguarded storage for example bags and shoes. Inside lockers are available.
Do you havea guarantee for snow?
Our snow guarantee means that we can offer one slope from the top and a shorter slope in the beginner area.
Do you have a slope for sledding?
Yes we have.
Do you have tracks for crosscountry sking?
If there are plenty of nature snow we can offer a 2 km track on the other side of the Ski Lodge.Update: From March 1st no track avaliable.
Where can one be indoors with their pet at Romme Alpin?
We do not allow animals indoors in our facilities, with the exception of the booked hotel rooms at Ski Lodge, which permit pets. Please note that if you have animals in a non-approved pet room, an additional cleaning fee will be applied 2 500 SEK.Is it possible to bring pets to Holgers House?
No, that's not allowed.
Can I purchase the cleaning?
Final cleaning is always included.
When is check-in and check-out in Holger House?
Check-in 3.00pm and check out 10.30am.
Where do I get the key to Holger's house?
You get the keys in the front desk in the Ski Lodge.
How are the beds distributed in Holger's house?
On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms with 4 and 3 beds. On the second floor are two bedrooms with 3 and 2 beds.
Are ski goggles inlcuded in the rent when you choose a ski package?
No, they are not. You can buy ski goggles in our skishop.
Do you have a ski wardrobe?
Yes we do. In the ski closet, you can leave your skis and poles overnight. Skiis 20:-, boots 30:- and both 50:-.You'll find ski closet between the Shop and Värmestugan.
Can I rent ski gear from Romme Alpin?
Yes, you can. The cost of a day is 200 sek/jacket and 200 sek/trousers.
Can I rent cross country skis from Romme Alpin?
Yes, you can. The rent includes skis, poles and boots.
Do we need to pre-book equipment online?
We recommend that all guests pre-book their equipment online, so that when picking it up it will already be correctly set and adjusted to your size and measurements as given at the time of booking.Can I rent a sledge from Romme alpin?
To rent a sledge for one day will cost you 50 sek.
Can you combine skiing and snowboarding in a day?
Yes, you can. Contact the rental on site to replace equipment.

You can pre-book your equipment until 6 am on the same day of your trip. When you arrive take a queticket outside the rental. After 6 am you can rent when you arrive.

Where do I report my child sick for the field day?
You contact the school to report that your child is sick and can not attent to the field day.
The leader of the school then submits a list to us on the site of the sickly-reported students, and then we will refund the booked amount -100 kr in adm. fee to the same card / account that you paid with when you made the reservation.
Can I get help to wax my skis?
Yes, in our ski workshop.Can I buy back protection?
Yes, in our ski shop. Come in and we'll help you find the right back protection
Do you sell ski clothes?
In the Romme Alpin ski shop you will find everything you need for a great day on the mountain. Our experienced and friendly staff will help you find the right equipment and clothing that you need.
How does tripp, trapp, trull work?
You start by purchasing brand new equipment for your children (skis, boots, ski poles). When your child outgrows the equipment, simply bring back the equipment and we can exchange it for a good reconditioned set that will suit him/her. You can do this however many times you wish till your child reaches shoe size 39 (Euro), ski length of 140cm or more, or 16 years of age.
Do i need to book a time to get help with my ski equipment?
If you are in need of assistance or have questions about your equipment, just enter the workshop. Most of the time, our staff can help you within half an hour, but of course there are exceptions. Some jobs can also be done after closing to be delivered properly in time for the back opening the following day.
Can I book only the travel without SkiPass with your day tour buses?
Yes, you can make your booking through our online booking.
Can I buy a oneway trip?
Yes, it is possible to travel one way with our day tour buses. However, the booking always includes a round trip, so it's not possible to book only a one-way journey. You can make your reservation through the online booking system.
If you have booked a return trip on a different day, please wait at Guest Services 25 minutes before the bus departure. One of our bus hosts will then guide you to the correct bus.
Where do the bus depart from at Cityterminalen Stockholm
On the departure board at Cityterminalen, you will see which gate the bus to Romme Alpin departs from. Look for our logo and ROMME ALPIN. Our buses depart at 6.30 or 7.00 (your confirmation will indicate your booked departure). Have a pleasant journey!Is there any age limit for booking the ski bus?
